Connect Your Accounts with Greater Confidence
If you use Venmo, PayPal, Mint, budgeting tools, investment apps or other services that connect to your Western State Bank accounts, you now have a more secure way to make those connections.
Compatible apps and services can now connect to your account through a secure authorization process rather than requiring you to provide your Western State Bank online banking username and password directly to the third-party app.
There’s nothing you need to sign up for or turn on. The added security is already built into the connection process when you connect your WSB account to a supported financial app or service. This helps protect your login credentials while giving you greater control over the connections you authorize.
If you have been hesitant to connect your Western State Bank account to outside financial tools because of security concerns, this added protection may give you greater confidence when using supported apps and services.
As always, only connect your accounts to apps and services you know and trust, review your connected accounts regularly, and always reach out to Western State Bank directly if you’re ever in doubt or need assistance.
